You are not allowed to have mobile phones with you during entire duration of ISSB. The mobile phones are taken away from candidates and kept in safe custody till the last day. They are allowed to keep the SIM.
These phones are returned to all candidates on dispersal day when leaving the ISSB.
So…
if you want to stay in contact with your parents / family while reporting or leaving ISSB, you may bring the mobile along.
What if you don’t come for ISSB?
Posted by mgm in Uncategorized on May 20, 2009
If you do not come for the ISSB tests, is your chance lost ?
The answer is NO. Your chance is not lost if you do not come for the tests. Your chance is only lost if you meet following 4 conditions: -
1. if you report,
2. clear your screening test and then
3. stay with us for entire duration of your tests and
4. if your result is “Not Recommended”.
There is more:
Those who are recommended, their chance too is not lost.
Those who are unable to continue their tests for the entire duration and are dropped out for some reason, they are called “NFB” which means Not Fully Boarded. Their chance is also not lost.
If someone is screened out twice then he/she simply become ineligible for further chances.
