Pakistani Candidates who live in other countries or Candidates with dual nationality living outside Pakistan:
The procedure for application will be as fol:
1. They are required to send an application to the Military Attache in nearest consulate of Pakistan.
2. They will undergo an interview and then travel to Pakistan [travel dates can be as per the availablity of the candidate] for appearing in the ISSB tests. Upon recommendation, clearance of medical test and final selection, they will be asked to forego the other nationality before joining the academy.
Candidates with dual nationality living in Pakistan: No change from procedure in vogue.
Mobile phones are not allowed but…
Posted by mgm in Miscellaneous on June 5th, 2009
You are not allowed to have mobile phones with you during entire duration of ISSB. The mobile phones are taken away from candidates and kept in safe custody till the last day. They are allowed to keep the SIM.
These phones are returned to all candidates on dispersal day when leaving the ISSB.
So…
if you want to stay in contact with your parents / family while reporting or leaving ISSB, you may bring the mobile along.
